My name is Jacob, and originally I'm from Alaska (PLEASE!! NO IGLOO JOKES!! ;)- ), and have lived all over the west coast. I'm friendly, intelligent, and sincere. I'm easy going, love to laugh, am an attentive and caring friend that is (sigh...) currently residing in 'Club-Fed'. I like to read (all genre's), am writing a memoir (would love opinions and advice on it!), enjoy listening to music (Rock, Metal, Easy Listening, R&B, Jazz, Country), anything outdoors (swimming, the beach, hiking, camping -- I'd really like to learn to water-ski, para sail, skydive, and even hang-gliding!!), being physically active (running, weights, volleyball, softball; I'm also interested in learning to do/practice yoga), and love animals!! Some other interests of mine are: Conservation, green living (I am an apprentice electrician, and would like to learn more about the breakthroughs in green living as it relates to homes), habitat protection, different cultures, equal rights (for women and minorities), am against the "war" on 'illegal immigrants', and welcome any additional perspective on any of these issues (for or against!!). I am also very interested in prisoner rights, and working to reduce the rate of incarceration in our country (Note: America has 5% of the worlds total population, and 25% of the worlds incarcerated population!). I like diversity, value individuality, and would like to meet people that are encouraging, responsible, and interested in building a lasting friendship.
